The European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology would like to invite you to Athens, the historical capital of Europe and one of the world’s oldest cities with its recorded history spanning 3,400 years, to attend the 12th conference of the European Academy of Occupational Health Psychology. The event will take place over three days, 11-13 April 2016, at the Royal Olympic Hotel, overlooking the Acropolis in Athens, Greece.

Conference theme: OHP in Times of Change: Society and the workplace.
The programme will include keynotes from Dr Joan Benach, Professor Christina Maslach, and Professor Karina Nielsen.

Industrial and Organizational Psychology Association invites you to the online continuous vocational training course INTRODUCTION TO ORGANIZATIONAL DIAGNOSIS (available since 2014).

Eligibility: the course is addressed to social and human sciences (psychology, pedagogy, sociology, social work) graduates (graduation ongoing/completed) with specialty training in industrial/organizational psychology, regardless of the level of practice, preferably with Master’s Degree.

COPSI credits: yes, 80 credit points for industrial/organizational psychology field

Is pleased to invite you to the 14th edition of the “Horia D. Pitariu” Industrial and Organizational Psychology National Conference of which will take place in Iasi, from 22nd to 24th of May, 2014.

The 14th edition of APIO Conference proposes that the central core of scientific debate to be a topic that interests both practitioners and researchers interested in applied psychology in human resources: evidence based organizational practice. Starting with organizational assessment procedures and methodologies, continuing with procedures and methodologies used for data analysis and substantiation of decisions and finishing with interventions designed to deal with organizational change, we invite you to consider together with us the scientific validity of these approaches, the extent to which they are based on solid empirical evidence, proving their effectiveness in organizational practice.

Continuing the well-established tradition in APIO Conferences, we offer practitioners and future practitioners a series of vocational skills training workshops, relevant to human resources psychology field. Also this year we continue the presentations series of the state-of-the-art in Romania, as an opportunity to be acquainted with the research activity of several Romanian experts and acquire key information on a particular organizational research topic.

Call for papers 2014 – Journal of the Human Resources Psychology

Dear Colleagues,

Industrial and Organizational Psychology Association in Romania (APIO) invites you to submit a manuscript for consideration to be published in its official publication, The Psychology of Human Resources Journal (PHRJ).

This journal is dedicated to publish original articles, especially empirical researches in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and related fields.

 PHJR publishes papers submitted in English, French and Romanian, which meet the rigorous methodological and theoretical requirements in the field. PHRJ (ISSN: 1583-73 7) is a double blind-reviewed journal and there are two issues published per year.

In order to ensure international visibility, PHRJ is indexed in several international databases: PsychINFO, EBSCO, SCIPIO, Société Française de Psychologie, DOAJ and Copernicus.

Currently, PHRJ is inviting contributions for upcoming issues. Please submit articles to, till 27.02.2014.  If accepted, the proposals will undergo the Journal’s peer-review process and will be published in the Spring Issue, at the end of April.

THE INDUSTRIAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY ASSOCIATION (ro. ASOCIATIA DE PSIHOLOGIE INDUSTRIALA SI ORGANIZATIONALA  – APIO) is pleased to invite you to the 12th  Edition of the National Conference of Industrial and Organizational Psychology ” Horia  D. Pitariu”, which will take place in Timisoara, from the 26th to the 28th of April 2012.

Attention! The deadline for submitting abstracts for papers (max. 350 words) or register for workshops is the 9th of March 2012, on the web site , in the 2012 APIO Conference section.

The theme for the 12th edition of the APIO Conference is “Occupational Health Psychology – a challenge for organizations“. Our guest of honour, Prof. Univ. Dr. Wilmar Schaufeli fom the Utrecht University, Netherlands, will be lecturing on “Work engagement – a key concept in Occupational Health Psychology?”. From an applied point of wiev, we invited Mrs. Mihaela Andronic, a psychologist working for Alcatel-Lucent as Senior Global Director – Talent Development.

Also, embracing the concept of “continuous development” this year we will continue the series of presentations of the state-of –the-art in Romania, launched at the previous edition of this Conference. Furthermore, a thematic meeting of practitioners in the field of industrial and organizational psychology will take place within the conference.
